where KIDS can learn all things music

Far too often, school reform efforts fail due to not being culturally responsive. Many kids have been let down by society and to reach those that need it most, we must engage them with their interests. I’ve been blessed to be able to work with DJ Chonz, a teacher at Lake Middle School, and director of Denver DJ School, through which students are not only able to learn turntables, but podcasting.

OUR TEACHING

 In today's new era, not every youth is an athlete or into traditional musical lessons. Can we agree with technology, music culture still influences raising our children? We teach the art and history behind the culture of DJing. Giving them an outlet to express themselves through these taught disciplines at the Denver DJ School

The Future Sounds Good

 We prepare our students in specific music formats, with the ability to be a open format DJ. Our students will be given the opportunity to perform in front of many types of audiences as part of our curriculum. Skills acquired at the Denver DJ School will allow our students to be prepared for employment and foster entrepreneurship
